Jon Gruden and Joe Biden

Jon Gruden has just resigned as Head Coach of the NFL Las Vegas Raiders after racist e-mails he authored came to light. Joe Biden, President of the United States has also made questionable remarks. It should be noted that both Gruden and Biden have apologized for their remarks. Biden, of course, remains in office.


“I mean, you got the first mainstream African American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man.” (Joe Biden 2007, on the candidacy of Senator Barack Obama for the Democratic nomination for President in 2008. Biden, a Senator too at that time was also seeking the nomination.)
