QUOTE OF THE DAY

With the new and more liberal immigration policy of the Biden

administration, a large number of immigrants are now crossing the

southern border and entering the United States. Whether one considers

that there is a crisis or a challenge at the border, today’s quote should be

relevant to all who are concerned about the arrival of immigrants into the

United States. The quote was stated by Massimo D’Azeglio, an Italian

statesman, novelist and painter.

“Fatta l’Italia, bisogna fare gli Italiani”-We’ve made Italy, now we have to

make Italians.

As the percentage of foreign born inhabitants of the United States reaches

record levels, wherever one stands on immigration, pro or con,

consideration must be given to building an American nationality. Efforts

must be made to Americanize foreign born residents of the United States.
