Quote of the Day: End Liberal Hegemony Now

As the Biden administration continues its insane policy of liberal hegemony, it would be wise to contemplate the words of French statesman Alphonse Lamartine. He was one of the founders of the Second French Republic (1848) and served as its Foreign Minister. In his Manifesto to Europe, issued March 4,1848, he stated:

“It knows that no liberty is durable, save that which is born upon its own grounds"

Efforts at nation building have failed miserably. We cannot remake the world nor any nation in our image. We cannot expend billions of dollars nor the lives of our men and women in uniform in search of an impossible dream. Robespierre warned that armed missionaries are not wanted. It’s time for the American foreign policy establishment to understand this once and for all. The impossible dream has become an unending nightmare. American foreign policy must be restrained to truly concern itself with our vital interests and nothing more. We can no longer serve as the world’s policeman.
