American Pravda (AKA NY Times) reported today, Oct. 8 ,2025, that Zohran Mamdani said the following: "I'm not comfortable supporting any state that has a hierarchy of citizenship on the basis of religion or anything else." This was stated on Fox 5 NYC on June 5, 2025 in response to a question regarding whether he supported Israel's existence as a Jewish state.
Today's NY Times article was entitled "How Zohran Mamdani came to embrace the Palestinian cause". Let us grant to Assemblyman Mamdani the benefit of the doubt that he is speaking as an honest American and not as a Muslim engaged in a jihad against Jews and Israel. Under this condition, it is surprising that Mr. Mamdani was not asked follow-up questions allowing him to demonstrate both his sincerity and commitment to real demcocracy.
63.5% of the population of Malaysia are Muslim. The remainder are Buddhists, Christians and Hindus. In contrast, Israel's population is recorded as 74% Jewish. Malaysia 's constitution declares Islam as the state religion (Art. 3) . Additionally, Art. 160 declares that to be considered a Malay (Bumiputra) one must be Muslim. During a visit to Kuala Lumpur, it was quickly obvious to a visitor that condominium offerings and other advertisements (on public billboards) indicated a dual pricing mechanism exists in Malaysia; a price for Bumiputras and a higher price for all others. Similarly, obtaining government business licenses are expedited for Bumiputras and delayed for non-Muslims. Mr. Mamdani, Malaysia obviously has a hierarchy of citizensip based on religion. Are you prepared to denounce it? Many other Islamic countries have discriminatory laws that favor Muslims over citizens of other religions. Do you find that objectionable and are you prepared to denounce that as an affront to democracy and equal rights?
I doubt Mr. Mamdani will read this blog or will ever see this post. Nevertheless, the questions are relevant as are the answers. Hopefully, we will receive some sort of response

Not holding my breath for any clarification from Mamdani. He’s already shown his true colors. It is very clear how he feels about Israel which undoubtably translates into distaste for all Jews. The whole “Anti Zionism is not antisemitism” is a badly hidden lie. It was coined by the performative justice Liberats to try and save their image while being openly antisemitic.
Which brings me back to Mamdani. He is vying for mayor of NYC- home to the biggest population of Jews outside of Israel. He cannot be trusted to protect the Jews. He cannot be trusted to protect ANYONE in this city. His smug, two faced presentation fools no one. No, let me clarify. He fools no Jews. As…
