NYC Dem Primary Reincarnates Trotsky

Yesterday was primary day in a number of states. Of particular interest were the results of the Democratic Party primaries for four seats in the House of Representatives in New York. American Pravda (AKA NY Times) is trumpeting a great victory for the left wing of that party. Analysis of the vote shows that while extreme leftists won three races, their victories are not as great as the press claims. Let's look at these three races. The fourth race is of interest as the voters turned down the bid of a celebrity who was banking on his grandfather's fame to entitle him to a seat in the Congress.

According to the 2020 federal census, each representative from New York State represents approximately 714,000 constituents. Though some states have done mid-census reapportionments, the number of allotted representatives per state remains constant until the next decennial census scheduled for 2030. After those results are tabulated and divided by 435

(the numbr of seats in the House of Representatives) each state will then be allotted its members for the next ten years. The states are responsinble for appportioing the seats and both parties are expert in gerrymandering for their own benefit. With this background, preliminary results of the races in New York City can be analyzed.

NY 7th: Claire Valdez 37,531 Antonio Reynoso 23,960 Total votes cast 66,953

Percentage of constituents voting:9.37%

NY 10th: Brad Lander 55,060 Dan Goldman 28,445 Total votes cast 83,661

Percentage of constituents voting: 11.72%

NY 13th: Darializa Avila Chevalier 32,790 Adriano Espaillat 30,464 Total votes cast:66,379

Percentage of constituents voting: 9.30%

NY 12th: Micah Lasher 40,106 Alex Bores 35,822 John B K Schlossberg 11,036

Total votes cast:102,463 Percentage of constituents voting: 14.35%

It should be noted that not all of the 714,000 people in each district are registerd to vote, many are under age, many are non-citizens and primaries in New York are closed, that is, only democrats can vote in the Democratic primary, only republicans can vote in the Republican primary etc. Nevertheless, all of the above cited congressional districts are ovewhelmingly blue and the percentage of primary participants is appallingly low. To take an extreme example, the winner in the closest race NY13, received only 4.59%of the 714,000 consttuents that she will represent if she wins the general election in November. As these districts are overwhelmigly blue, it is expected that these primary winners wil coast to easy victories. The 12th differs from the other three races as they were non-ideological, more traditionally democratic, but with the added interest of the candidacy of the only grandson of the late President John F. Kennedy seeking to capitalize on his family background. He went down to defeat.

Primary winners don't always win general elections. In these races, only token republican opposition can be expected. However, insurgent democrats not satisfied with the results may seek to be on the ballot by collecting an adequate number of signatures on election petitions. They won't be on the Democratic line but they may be able to mount credible challenges to the extreme leftists who won the primaries. Valdez and Avila Chevalier are members of a "movement" that calls itself the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) and in its organization resembles the Bolshevik Party. Recognizing that running as a "DSA 'Party" they would have limited success, they have adopted the Trostskyite technique of Entryism, namely infiltrating a larger organization. Most organizations have a limited number of active members and a small cadre of activists. In this case, DSA has decided to utilize the Democratic Party infrastructure. DSA activists attend meetings and pretend to be "good" and "sincere" democrats, but their real goal is to take control of the Democratic Party. Last November (2025) , a DSA activist won the Democratic primary for Mayor and easily was elected Mayor of NYC despite a challenge by former governor Andrew Cuomo. Zohran Mamdani worked tirelessly for the three extreme leftists who won yesterday and has been busy these last six months pursuing a radical agenda for NYC. Regrettably, yesterday's primary results will push an historically centrist American institution, the Democratic Party, to the left which will have national repercussions, both in state and federal elections. The DSA is currently led by an aging socialist, Bernie Sanders (I-VT) who has interfered in Democratic Party affairs despite being an "independent". DSA elected officials are bound by their political committee's discipline as they humiliated former Rep. Jamaal Bowman for visiting Israel against their orders. Bowman had to make a servile apology to his political masters. He lost the Democratic primary as he ran for re-election in 2024. Newly elected "DSA democrats" certainly have gotten the message. The Bolshevik Party line has always been "democratic centralism", that is, the political committee (politburo) sets the line and the membership follows. Truly, the DSA is America's Bolshevik Party. It is using Trotskyite techniques as the time is not ripe for Stalinist techniques. If they ever achieve power, you can be sure they will transition to Stalinism.

Leon Trotsky, formerly of 1522 Vyse Avenue in the Bronx was a genius who made the Russian revolution. Foreign Minister and War Minister of the USSR, he led the Red Army during the Russian Civil War. Brutal and ruthless, he nevertheless lost a power struggle with Stalin and was assassinated in Mexico in 1940 by Soviet agents. His philosophy lives on and he continues to have faithfull supporters who promote his ideology of class struggle and world revolution. Sanders, Mamdani and their acolytes are Trotskyites if not secret Stalinists. Class struggle is their meat and potatoes and "globalize the intifada" is their battle cry.

this is a warnng to the Democratic and Repubican Parties. Stay in the center. Don't go to the extremes. That's the formula for losing. Barry Goldwater lost to Lyndon Johnson in 1964 and George McGovern lost to Richard Nixon in 1972. America does not need extremists, neither of the right nor the left. In 2028, there will be an election for president. We don't want or need Bolshevism in disguise. This is fair warning to both parties. Hopefully, they will heed it.
